This is the bigger brohter of the NEMA14. This is the most common stepper motor used in 3D printers. These motors are often used in applications where you need to move something to a specific position. They are often used in 3D printers to move the gantry or the print bed.

NEMA is a standard for stepper motors NEMA17 is 42mm x 42mm and can have various lengths. Here we have a tall varient which is stronger and a “pancake” varient which is shorter but less strong.

These motor can be controlled using a stepper driver and require a power supply to control them.
